Independent Living Units
Independent living units are designed for people who wish to maintain full independance whilst having security, companionship, facilities and services of a supported community.
All the independent living units are single storey two bedrooms, open plan living, with an ample kitchen and indoor/outdoor entertaining areas. They also have an attached garage.
All units are fitted with a 24-hour emergency call button.
External maintenance of the unit and community gardens is the responsibility of the facility in negotiation with the resident therefore allowing people to contribute as much or as little as they need depending on their wishes and physical and medical condition.
To be eligible for an individual living unit individuals must be able to provide a certificate from their local doctor indicating they are safe to be living in a minimal supported environment.
